Hello and welcome
My name is Emma, and I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor, drawing on a range of approaches including person-centred, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic theory.
I work with adults aged 18 and over, supporting them through a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety, grief, childhood trauma and more.
Everyone is unique, therefore I tailor my work to suit your individual needs, always prioritising the issues that matter most to you.
I create a safe, compassionate space where you feel heard, understood, and gently supported—sometimes with respectful challenge, when it feels right and helpful to do so.
Postnatal Depression
I’m particularly passionate about helping women experiencing postnatal depression and the emotional pressures that can arise during early motherhood.
Walk & Talk Therapy
I also offer Walk & Talk therapy, combining the healing process with the grounding benefits of being outdoors—something I feel strongly about both personally and professionally.
I am based in Newport and offer both face-to-face and online sessions, providing flexible, accessible support.
I work weekdays but can offer evening and weekend sessions if required.
